The Scotsman‘s website ran a short piece last month about the annual meeting I held for constituents. Rather good of them, I think. Unfortunately, they allowed comments from readers. Now, I know I can be naive, but I thought that an MP of any party making himself accessible like this would have been deemed A Good Thing, even by those without an interest in politics.
The two comments left were: “Never heard of him.” (fair comment) and “more Labour scum”.
Hard to believe that Scots coined the phrase, “It’s nice to be nice.”
