Nick Clegg’s sense of humour: the search is on

Nick Clegg’s famously ineffective performances at Prime Minister’s Questions would be vastly improved by his cracking a good joke or two. I just saw a short clip of Mr Earnest on The Andrew Marr Show and it’s clear the guy just wouldn’t know a joke if he came home and found one wearing his sandals and eating his lentils. So where is Nick Clegg’s sense of humour? If you can find an example of it, please post a comment.

  1. Actually he has a wicked sense of humour, which, having been the butt of it on occasions, I am sure will eventually surface!

  2. Yeah, er, right, I mean, I’m sure he’s quite a hoot, but can you give us an example of his talent for whimsy? Surely as a former EU Commission civil servant, ex-MEP and now a LibDem MP he must have a wealth of rib-ticklers?

He joined the LibDems didn’t he! He must have a sense of humour to do that! πŸ˜‰

  4. 1. He put Lembit Opik in the Shadow Cabinet.

    2. He put Lembit Opik in the Shadow Cabinet as “English Housing guru” elected by his Welsh constituents.
