Palin ‘going rogue’ say McCain aides

I STILL refuse to get my hopes up, but this makes very interesting reading and seems to indicate classic implosion behaviour by losing campaigns.

But I don’t see any overweight women practicing their scales just yet.

Just the leftie press at it again. The left are just trying to destroy her with their nasty campagns.

The US will live to regret if they bring in the Democrats as we have Labour.

  2. Oh, come on, Johnny – surely even you don’t think Palin’s a good thing, surely?

Losing battle Tom. Incredible as it may sound, but there are millions of people stateside openly campaigning for themselves NOT to have tax cuts, and instead tax cuts for high earners, in the unshakable belief that the benefits they’ll get from the “trickle down” theory, will far outweigh any tax cuts for themselves.

There is even a parody of it right here: http://www.salon.com/comics/boll/2008/10/23/boll/story.gif

Palin lacks the nous to run a company, let alone a country, and the McCain campaign policies are riddled with absolute non sequiturs. YET, it doesn’t make any difference. People support them regardless.

Incidentally, Johnny Norfolk’s comparison between the Democrats and Labour is ridiculous. The democrats are a right wing organisation. The Republicans are just a hardcore right wing organisation in comparison.

The USA has NO left wing candidates.

She would shake things up and take no prisoners as Mrs T did. that is why she is not liked. She is not part of the elite and does not conform. All I can say is that she has run Alaska very well and has support of the people there, Just like Gordon Brown.

  5. there has been mixed signals from the McCain camp since it’s inception… looks like not even Sarah Palin can keep up with McCain’s endless wavering between “straight talker” and crooked politician

    Perhaps Palin is going ‘rogue’.
She has nothing to lose, ergo let her use her national
platform to get her message out.
McCain created this ‘frankentstein’, so to speak.
I have no sympathy for him.
What Palin should do is invite Ann Coulter to accompany her on the remaining days of the
    election trail.
Now that would really get up the Democrats nose.
Imagine what Sandra Bernhard would have to say?
Dems, Obama has the White House in the bag.
    Socialist America waits you.
Remember that his tax plan will work.
    Why?
Well with the rapid rise of unemployment,
he will not need to tax these poor people.
So what is next. Soup kitchens?

‘lacking the nous to run a company let alone a country’ doesn’t seem to be a bar to achieving. or hoping to achieve, high political office either in the usa or the uk.

It is sure that Senator McCain will not be elected as Americans refuse to further Bush period. So why should not Gov. Palin play for her own? She is wise. – A.N.A.

‘The USA has no left wing candidates’

Of course they do. I have met many Americans who want the government to do everything for them, and candidates who want to do it.

You need to get out into the world, before you make inconsidered statements like that.

My basic defenition of left and right is.
The more left you are the more you want the state to do. The more right you are the less you want the state to do. that is why Hitler was from the left not the right as the left would have us believe.
His party was the National SOCIALIST Party that wanted to control everthing and everybody.
    Think about it.

Let’s not forget that Sarah Palin was Mccain’s own choice. he should have backed her all the way.i feel sorry for the lady.we all know she was not ready and made it worse everytime she opened her mouth, and she probably knew it as well. but still, she saw an opportunity and took it. propably was promised USd 150,000 in cloths for her and her children. as a woman i back her, even the fact that she cannot and will not win. but i back her as a woman. Go for it Sarah, you only have 9 days to go to become famous forever. use your own strategy.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Gov. Sarah Palin’s signature accomplishment — a contract to build a 1,715-mile pipeline to bring natural gas from Alaska to the Lower 48 — emerged from a flawed bidding process that narrowed the field to a company with ties to her administration, an Associated Press investigation shows.
