Greatest Christmas hits of the last 2000 years: No. 18

2000 Miles – The Pretenders

THIS is one of those songs that isn’t immediately obvious as a Christmas song. But it is and shouldn’t be overlooked in anyone’s Christmas collection.

Good choice. New entry for this year: http://www.myspace.com/theleisuresociety (track 1 obviously, doesn’t appear to be on youtube yet)

  2. Chris' Wills

    Nay, nay and thrice nay.

    Begone foul tune.

  3. Good choice Tom.

Video is all the rage this morning it seems. Tom Watson has Gordon & ‘Dave’ singing the Sex Pistols:

(Nothing to do with Christmas, but cool all the same.)

These videos are so clever, and a top favourite is the one of Dave and TB with Dave slavishly imitating every TB word and gesture.

Looking forward to the NRRWSS video. (not repairing the roof while the sun was shining)

Scenes of desolation in CCHQ, empty coffers, torn up chequebooks, members running away, and staff being handed their P45’s as Dave’s words are played hauntingly in the background.
    Or something.

Oh heavens, not another Tory mole. We’ve barely revved up the video editing software! 😉
