All hail, Sadie!

MY OWN modest efforts to expose (and make fun of) the melodramatic scaremongering of wild-eyed libertarian types pale into insignificance compared to this wonderful post by Sadie – you know, her off of Sadie’s Tavern.

Absolutely brilliant.

Everyone’s efforts on just about anything are puny compared to Sadie when she gets stuck in. She’s brilliant, and thank goodness for her.

And she doesn’t need to travel far to find material for her next hilarious put down.
Pop along to ConservativeHome and read the baffled responses to their article:
“How much has the public sector grown under Labour?”

I can only think that it was a bit of a time wasting exercise to even ask the question, as the commentators there already know the answer – allegedly.

Stand by for the lies, damned lies, and statistics brigade.

You do yourself an injustice Tom; your postings tend to be pithier.

  3. I agree Chris’. Tom and Sadie both have a blind spot where freedom issues are concerned, but I found nothing much of interest in Sadie’s attempt at satire.

Sadie’s Blog is superb and I, for one, support her campaign to re-instate the hunks on public view.

I wonder if the ad was removed because some of those passing by were worried that their wives or servants might see the picture and be shocked? Or, worse still, make comparisons?

The responses are almost as baffled as when the Tory lead in opinion polls falls.

And when you’ve chortled at their tortured attempts to distort the figures to the result they want, you can download Gordon’s “I saved the world” gaff as your mobile phone ringtone. True!

Aaaaaaah! I must be older than I thought.

    Rapunzel – like it.
Looks like Sadie’s got competition. ;0)

Stewart Cowan – “I found nothing much of interest in Sadie’s attempt at satire”

    (ani sighs, rolls eyes)

    Cue Johnny Norfolk.

That was a really, really crap analogy, and it makes our side of the argument look ignorant.
