Greatest Christmas hits of the last 2000 years: No. 10

Last Christmas – Wham!

THIS was surely heading for the Number 1 spot in December 1984 when international and domestic events conspired and Band Aid made it instead. Brilliant song with an incredibly cheesy video which – let’s face it – has not aged as well as the song itself. Check out the mullet on GM.

Very good song and you can hear the words.

Brings back happy memories of a happier time.

  2. I have to disagree with you and Johnny on this one.

IMHO this is the worst song EVER (certainly outside of rap and hip-hop circles). I hate it. When I have the misfortune to hear it in a shop, I head for the nearest exit.

If I had a gun I would shoot the speakers off the wall on my way out.

It doesn’t bring back happier memories for me, Johnny. I was on a tiny wage and the Milk Snatcher was in No. 10 and I was subjected to that song everywhere I went!

I feel better for getting this off my chest.
